An unsigned Hiphop Artist from South Carolina
Great flows mixed with bass heavy instrumentals. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this album both lyrically and sonically.
Cranford Hollow is an award winning band from South Carolina. A five man band molding together a carefully crafted mix of Southern Rock, Appalachian Fiddle Music and American Rock and Roll.
“And You Brutus” released Oct 31, 2016, is a song off their studio album Color/Sound/Renew/Revive/ .
This song humbly carries an old story into a new era in this gritty piece. The composition boasts the bands ability to take rich subject matter and playfully mold it into a new composition with out losing potency.
The vocals are perfectly coarse which serves to enhance depth of the lyrics. The production on this album is well balanced and smooth. At five minutes in duration this song grabs and hold your attention quite effectively.
This level of talent has the ability to accommodate listeners of all age groups. Expect easy listening, soft openings, baritone guitar riffs, and complex lyricism. This is truly the final product of mending what is known to be good with what has yet to be known.
Cranford Hollow is an inspiring group with an inspiring message. Truly a name to look out for. “And You Brutus” is definitely worth a listen.
Color/Sound/Renew/Revive/ is available on ITunes.

Bob Pepek, an American recording artist and performer, released his latest full length album April, 28th 2017; “ Pratfalls and Curtain Calls”.
This album is persistent and powerful; an inspiring and thought provoking piece of work.
Bob’s vocal delivery has a soft feel that blends perfectly with the rock Accompaniment. Sonically the album has flavors of smooth rock, folk, country and dense lyricism; combining these elements to create a unique listening experience.
Throughout the album we visit various emotionally charged compositions. Opening with one of the faster paced pieces, “Against My Will” creates a sense of urgency ; setting the tone for the dynamic emotional journey the album takes the listener on.
From the confident and powerful message in the song “I’ll Carry On” to the feeling of being hopeless and unsure such as on the tracks “ Out Loud” and “Missing You”; to feelings of lonely introspection and humility portrayed in the song “Take Me for Me”.
This album tells a story of balance. Lyrically Bob holds nothing back in painting a vibrant picture of the delicate ups and downs of life utilizing clever similes. His ability to put you right there is nothing short of inspiring.
Sonically this album is solid smooth rock but what makes it more than just another album is what he says and how it makes you feel. For me the subject matter cuts through with a visceral thickness of familiarity.
Bob Pepek is definitely an artist to watch out for.
“Pratfalls and Curtain Calls” is available on Amazon, Spotify, and iTunes.
